Back in November, our bartenders Jenny & Jordan went down to Michoacán for a special collaboration “pechuga” mezcal with our friends at La Luna. While pechuga mezcal is commonly distilled with a chicken or turkey breast, our mezcal omits any animal products. We wanted our batch to speak to our place in Santa Ana and decided to add figs, hibiscus, coriander, orange peel and cinnamon to a 100% Maguey Chino mezcal. Needless to say, we are blown away by the results.
While we intended to have this mezcal available for the holidays, shipping was delayed…along with everything else. Now that we have it in our hands, we are incredibly excited to showcase this mezcal in our next Drinks & Snacks event on March 31st starting at 5pm. Our good friend Ryan, from La Luna, will be bringing some special mezcal with him that we haven’t gotten our hands on!
